Ok Friends. Ive done it! I received the Younique Fiber 3D Lashes - TopicsExpress

Ok Friends. Ive done it! I received the Younique Fiber 3D Lashes today. I washed my face so I could try it out. I watched 2 YouTube videos on how to apply it (sent to me by the gal who sent the mascara) and went for it. First, let me say that I do NOT have a lash comb, which was recommended in the video. I only did 1 coat of fiber (gel, fiber, gel) and the 1st pic shows my natural lashes in 2 views and then 1 eye done in 3D Fiber Lashes. I only made 1 attempt to do it and I think a lash comb would be super helpful to separate the lashes and then I could likely have done a 2nd coat on the outer lashes. But I didnt want them to get any more cakey. In this pic, from my natural lashes to the 3D lashes, there is a very substantial difference! Next, I did the 2nd eye in my trusty Jordana Extreme Lash mascara that retails for $2.99 at Walgreens & CVS Drug Store, I did 1 coat. As you can see, there is a marginal difference in my lashes. In the 2nd photo, my finger is under the 3D lashes. Yes, the 3D is slightly fuller and longer. Is it enough for me to be blown away and pay 1000% more.... Im not yet convinced. However, I am NOT writing the product off by any means, because its highly plausible that a lash comb would have made a tremendous difference in allowing me to do an additional coat of 3D Fiber. So, my interim verdict is STAY TUNED. I want to give the product a totally fair review, so I will be buying a lash comb tomorrow and trying again! What do you all think?? *Note: these photos are 100% raw, un-retouched, or filtered. (Not that they are so stellar that you might have mistakenly thought so.....but, you know, in the art of full disclosure). **Addendum: in previous posts, several people mentioned the 3D was hard to remove, more so than waterproof mascara. I disagree. I always use warm water and microfiber cloth to remove my make-up, with NO cleanser/remover, warm water only, and the 3D came off with every bit the same ease as the Jordana. Minimal effort involved. (Microfiber cloths rock).
