Ok Guys and Gals! The Alabama Republican establishment spoke last night and rejected the tea party candidate Dean Young and choose former Democrat/Clinton delegate Bradley Byrne. If anything was learned from this race it is that the Alabama Republican Party does not want constitutionalist/fiscal conservatives in their party. The race also showed that is makes little difference if a person runs to change the Republican Party or if they run in a third party. In 2011, the Constitution Party of Alabama were outspent and lost to a similar former democrat then republican David Session in an Alabama State House race and lost by a similar percentage. The establishment GOP has spoken, you and I are not wanted! So the choice is now yours, do you still try to reform the GOP or do you now become active with the Constitution Party of Alabama? If there are anyone who worked with the Young campaign or supported his camapign, I would like to warmly welcome you to the Constitution Party fo Alabama.
