Ok Heather I am in need of major help. I have a co-worker who moved to FL with two young boys to get away from an abusive husband. Her husband followed her down here to be in the boys life - they are not together and are getting a divorce. However, he drinks and gets abusive. After drinking last night he went to her house and well she had to call the police. She had scratches, and such on her face and who knows what else not showing. She said she pressed charges but is in a catch 22 - if he goes to jail he may loose his job, etc and therefore little to no child support. Do you know of any organizations that help in these cases financially? How can we help her???
