Ok. Here goes... Sempai Brock point sparring knocked out in the second round. Was up 2 nil and then lost to some questionable decisions but did it with the respect of a champion. He then fought later in the day in continuos sparring; first fight was stopped after a fantastic head kick. Second fight was down to the wire. More head kicks were on show from Brock but the decision didnt go his way. Still trying to figure that one out : ) Jenna fought like a warrior in her continuous bout and came across some tough girls. She finished very strong with the other girl taking out a placing at the end. Great spirit shown!! Sempai Isaiah fought extremely well in his division finally losing to the overall winner. Continuous sparring saw him disqualified after his opponent ducked into one of his punches. Definitely shook the guy up. Mitchell got through to the second round losing to the second place getter overall. Huge improvements from this young man. Kane fought well and scored the first point of the fight but lost in the end. Did extremely well against a taller opponent with a distinctive fighting style. Each of the students did so well today. The contact was something else and needed to be seen to be believed!! The guys were taken by surprise but adapted pretty quickly, they had to!! They supported each other like they were family. I have truly enjoyed this weekend and cannot wait for the next one. Each of the students should be extremely proud of their efforts over the last 3 days. To the families that came along for the weekend, Thankyou. Dinner Saturday night was a good laugh and a heap of fun. You all embraced what this weekend was about and it was a privilege to have you all here. Well, back to it tomorrow at training. I look forward to seeing you all on the mats - Osu!
