Ok Here is our chance, need good pics and video. We are searching for photos and videos of Alabama chained dogs. Many of you have expressed serious concerns about the abundance of chained dogs in our state and wed like to bring the issue to the attention of more Alabamians. We need high resolution photos of chained dogs. We have many photos that came to us from Facebook and other social media outlets, but the photos are small and the resolution is low. When we enlarge them, they are simply too blurry. We would also like photos of volunteers working WITH chained dogs--whether holding them, feeding them, literally unchaining them--helping them in some capacity. If you have any videos of dogs on chains or being rescued from their chains, we would love that. Bottom line: if you have high resolution photos or any videos of chained dogs, we need them--and your permission to use them in AVRAL materials. Highly prized pics/videos are those in which volunteers are wearin g AVRAL shirts, but hey, we will take ANY good quality images we can get! I hope you can help us. The prevalence of chaining dogs throughout Alabama is an issue that must be addressed. These animals suffer tremendously. Its time to face this problem head on.
