Ok.. I am about to burst a vein in my forehead! Can you call any offices (IRS specifically) anymore to talk to a person to ask a simple question? Goodness Gracious! Maybe, someone here can answer it for me. I started to take another career path with another company. To make a long story short, I did not. I chose to stay with my company that fought to keep me (feel very blessed for that). Any ways, the new company didnt reverse their payroll and ended up paying me the bi-weekly salary they offered. I contacted them to ask them to reverse it. They said they would and could. Couple days later, they ask me to write them a check instead and mail it to them. WTH? I find this questionable and want to make sure that I dont receive a W-2 from them for this and as reported income. What a mess. Im trying to do the right thing, but they are making it difficult.
