Ok I am going to freak everyone out with an exercise I do on occasion. You might think..oh my that will kill your knees, or kill your lower back, or make you go deaf and blind maybe.... Now here is the reality. These are NOT for everyone. These work well for people with a good degree of flexibility, shorter femurs, thick hamstrings, already developed vastus medialias/vmo, and of course with a huge pump heading into the exercise as its unquestionably a finisher. I have been beat up quite a bit over the years, but the one area that I have that has never been injured is my knees. I believe this is due to mostly: 1) I never used knee wraps to help me on heavy sets 2) I trained my teardrops specifically for aesthetics (for cosmetic purposes) 3) I sequence exercises in a way that keeps your knees safe.
