Ok, I am going to run this idea by my fellow conservatives, et al. One of the biggest issues facing us at election time is voter fraud. So, here is a suggestion. However before I proceed, I must say that it would be costly, but the costs would be well worth the end results. Each state could streamline this idea to suit its own needs and the states would have to bare the costs, but again, in the end it would be well worth it. (Perhaps a small registration fee could be utilized to help in the costs) As you know, we now have the technical know-how to use finger print, facial, or retinal recognition. Why not require each state, via using either their election boards, DMVs, or both to begin to acquire and build a database with any or combined options to ID voters. I know there would be some problems that would need to be worked out. But just imagine. You go to vote, the poll worker has let us say a fingerprint recognition device. You place your finger on it. It says its you, or its not you. Then you go vote OR you dont get to vote. Any thoughts, and is it feasible? Again, I would not rule out bugs etc, but once in place this could possibly be a godsend of an idea.
