Ok I am know posting the Laymon family tree!! and death records!! pay attention!! you need to share this document!! and save it to your time line!! if you are kin to me? this is Ralph Frederick Laymons family tree!! The Laymon Family Tree and Death Records Notice the spelling of these names, these records was written in pencil of family Bible records that was handed down unto the Laymon’s unto me. You all live on folks! I don’t! Your children will thank me after Im in the grave! It is up to you to continue the family tree and hand it down! Many have already thanked me and your welcome! Many of the family never knew all the names nor seen all the pictures of there own family!! May some one name a child after me for what I tried to do for them! When I don’t live on and they do! We have all of these names in photo including pictures in tin with records that is so old there going to crumble and brake if we handled them wrong. The Civil War was in 1860-1865 give or take. These records is before the Civil War and after it! It is very sad that there is many of the kin who refuse a give a phone # so there family’s can be added unto the family tree!! Leaymon was born June 28th 1832 died June 6th 1894 Silas B. Leaymon, married S. E. (Hall) Leaymon August 16th 1854, Sarah E. (Hall) Leaymon was born August 16th 1838 He married S. A. ( ) Leaymon September 27th 1883 His cousin Elijah Laymon faught for the South in the Civil war! More Leaymons records born: Millard T. Leaymon was born November 12th 1856 George Leaymon was born January 18th 1862 Jenella Leaymon was born July 28th 1864 Alice Leaymon was born January 31st 1867 Mary U. Leaymon was born July 16th 1869 died October 13th 1877 David A. Leaymon was born January 20th 1869 died August 30th 1869 Diton O. Leaymon was born April 9th 1872 Mrs. Ella Laux born 1864 died July 28th 1928 in Terra Haute IN. at 3:30pm at the St. Anthony’s Hospital. She was survived by her husband, a brother and several nieces and nephews. Funeral was help at 3:00pm on a Thursday at the residence home in Central Terra Haute, laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Tracy Leaymon Laux her baby was born August 3rd 1906 died August 21st 1906 More Laymon Family records: George Laymon SR. Born 1862 (His father Silas B. Laymon) He married Jennie (Jobe) she was born February 7th 1869 in Athens, IL., her parents Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Jobe, her brother was William Grant “Bill” Jobe more Jobes J. M. Jobe Blackwell Children of George Laymon SR. and Jennie (Jobe) Laymon: (1) Stella May Laymon, (2) Ralph Frederick Laymon, (3) George Laymon JR., (4) Merton Laymon, (5) Edna Laymon. (1) Stella May Laymon born ???? She married a Ray Turner in Alva, Oklahoma February 9th 1916 both lived in Kiowa, her parents owned the Cottage Hotel in Kiowa. Ray was a mechanic who owned his own mechanic shoppe. Later she married a Virgil Gall of Cottonwood Falls May 29th ???? He was a barber at the Gordon beauty shoppe, She worked there as well with her husband and later moved to Cottonwood Falls (2) Ralph Frederick Laymon born February 17th 1893 in Gardner, KS. Died March 9th 1979 in Mount Vernon, Missouri. Laid to rest in Joplin, MO. Ozark Memorial Cemetery. He was in World War I towards the end of the war, and later was sent back in, in World War II to build rail road bridges for the Army in Europe with his crew, he designed many bridges and built them with his crew, three of those bridges still stand to this day. Him and his crew were sent back home because they were to old to be there! He married Flossie Ganelle Dameron, born 1901 October 10th , in Roanoke, MO. Died April 8th, 1998 in KS. at the nursing home, she was laid to rest in Joplin, MO. Ozark Memorial Cemetery next to her husband Ralph Frederick Laymon who past away in 1979, Joplin, MO. She married Ralph Frederick Laymon in Salina, KS. October 10th 1919, both lived in Minneapolis, KS. at the time. “Nell” was 18 years of age and Ralph F. Laymon was 26 years of age. In 1969 they had there 50th anniversary in Joplin, MO. There children born: (1) Loretta Norine Laymon 8-6-1921, (2) Kenneth E. Laymon 8-30-1922, (3) Perry Laymon 9-19-1923 and (4) Karen Lee Laymon 1-21-1941. (1) Loretta Norine Laymon: August 6th 1921 died September 14, 1983 She married Albert A. “Hap” Watkins born August 16th 1919 Died May 31st 1987 (son of Horance L. Watkins) was laid to rest in the Ozarks And there children they had: Myrna Joye Watkins She married Ben Brumback Children: Todd Brumback: Angela Brumback: Roger Watkins: Children: Renee Watkins Shari Watkins: She married a Brobisky Children: Cory (2) Kenneth E. Laymon: born August 30th, 1922, died 19 ?? He married Hazil P. Lewis of Emporia KS. And was in the service in 3-14-1944 Last known address was in FL. Children: Lawrence E. “Larry” Laymon: born August 11th, 1945 in Wichita, KS. Sedgwick county. Died August 10th, 2009 in Springdale, AR. Laid to rest in Joplin, MO. At the feet of Karen Lee Laymon, Daniels, McCrary his aunt. Ozark Memorial Cemetery Joplin, MO. He married a Mary ( )? in 1960s? He married Pala Shawlenburger? (In 19?? He latter married a Jewel Anderson of Joplin, Carthage MO area. He adopted Connie (Loveland)? (4) Karen Lee Laymon: born January 21st Wichita, KS. 1941 died May 7th 2007 in Andover, KS. Laid to rest in Joplin, MO at Ozark Memorial Cemetery by the praying hands monument. She married Harold Dean Daniel, (his father LLoyd Wayne Bettis of Webb city, MO.) mother Eva Achinson of Joplin, MO., he was adopted by the Daniels family,when he was a baby, his adoptive parents was Charles L. Daniels and Maude E. Daniels, of Tipton Ford, MO. he was born in Webb city, MO. 9-15-1939, he was in the Army and later re-enlisted in the Air force, his birth name was Billy Joe Bettis. He past away in Bentonville, AR. at his home, 9-10-2009 Laid to rest in the Bentonville Cemetery, Bentonville, AR. Nelson of Piedmont, KS. formerly of Wichita, KS. She graduated High School in Wichita KS. East. And Private Jr. R. Laymon also went to Wichita High School North, Wichita KS. She was the Great Granddaughter of Mrs. Donn Wemple, one of the pioneers of Sedgwick county, Wichita, KS. Also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Nelson of Butler county. The lived in Pasadena, CA., while he was in the service. Grandpa Ralph took care of her burial at the Cemetery in Joplin, MO. on the south end of town. Her daughter also was named Edna and she had children also. Folks I did my best I am not a speller or a good typist I am a speaker and a singer! I can not fill in the blanks if the family will not call me to help me! May you continue the family tree!! I have given all of you a place to start your own tree in adding your own records that you may have!!
