Ok I am watching the movie Up and something just dawned on me.. Russell’s family didnt wonder where in the heck he just dissappeared to for what had to be at least a couple of weeks? Now we learned that Russell only has his mother, cause his father found some new woman who Im sure is better looking then Russell mom, and went to be with her...( Not shown but we can assume this) Ok.. What was she thinking during the time that her kid disappeared? Tell me ladies if your kid went out one morning at 9 years old and just up and vanished would you be calm? Then he gets back, and Im sure hears the story.. Why was she so willing to allow Russell to continue his association with the old coot who kidnapped him, took him to South America, and nearly got him killed? We see them together at the badge ceremony.. Why was Carl not in some old folks prison getting pumped full of pills so this can never happen again.. Great message Disney.. Its cool to go off on an adventure with an old man as long as he has balloons and a cool dog. I rest my case!!!! And before some of you wonderful wackadoddles get all defencive its a joke post, so have fun with this and think it over! :-)
