Ok I cant stand it anymore!!! I want to discuss physique competitors and the attitude of the general population to how they look. First of all most competitors DO NOT LOOK LIKE THEY DO ON SHOW DAY for more than a few days. Next... The female competitors are not too skinny they are LEAN AND HAVE MUSCLE!!!!!!! Next,,, people who are involved in this lifestyle, especially if they are coached properly and/or educated eat far more than the average person does. The problem is the average person is A, not educated in nutrition/exercise so have no idea what they are talking about.. B, most people fear what they dont understand and therefore lash out with negative comments as a defense mechanism. So next time someone says something negative to you if you are a competitor instead of coming back with your own lash out, educate them, ask them to come to a show with you etcetera. Its really a form of discrimination in my eyes. If someone said that someone was fat and disgusting the earth would stop rotating on its axis and people would freak out!!! Educate people Explain to them why and how you are doing what you do! Ok Im done typing now although I could go on much more.
