Ok I cant stop myself I must put my 2 cents in. I see post like this ALL the time! Do you truly believe intentionally causing your child physical pain is going to make them honor & respect you? What if instead of putting fear into your children you actually take time out of your busy schedule and talk to them, ask them why they hit their sister, pushed their brother, threw a tantrum and then teach them better coping skills. What are you really teaching your child? Its ok to hit/spank if you are a mommy or daddy but not if you are young? This is such a disturbing trend that I see. People think causing physical pain & fear is just easier than teaching children how to cope. I really really hope more parents parent with love, respect, understanding & listening. End rant!
