Ok I had hernia surgery and another minor cosmetic surgery done Thursday. Im still weak and aching. But my thought this evening as I pulled myself up off of the couch and slowly got ready for a shower. How does someone endure the pain after surgery if they are not somewhat conditioned? It takes all the strength I need to get up and down. Just to sit up in a comfortable position or wash my hair. Everything takes some kind of strength. If I hadnt been using weights or doing cardio- this slight painful struggle would be a major ordeal- where one might need help from others physically. And Im only 43. Cant wait to get back at it- not gonna be a weak old person! Thats all. Good night. (I walked laps in the house bc I couldnt stand sitting).
