Ok I have a little second of time before the madness that is Howard Homecoming and my East Coast Pole Tour commences tomorrow! Thank you to the entire Miss Texas Pole Star family, Linda Spraggins & Karen McCutchin Palmer for putting on another star studded event! Since its inception in 2010 MTPS has been a steadfast in my pole journey and career. Because of MTPS, Melee on the Bayou: Houstons Premier Pole Dancing Competition was conceived. MTPS has been a big sister competition to our feeder event and a mothering source of inspiration and encouragement. This organization truly has had my back from the start and I will always be available to help them continue such a grand legacy! To the Pole Judges Cirlce, Cleo TheHurricane Alethea Austin Hope Schmerfeld Jeni Janover Torwa Joe Mary Ellyn Weissman Pantera Blacksmith Brynn Route Lisa Cannon Ember Ashe Becky Vickers & Jason Brown you guys are amazingly hilarious. It was an honor being the extra eye for you all and not envious of submitting the final scores! It was a fantastic year of entertainment! To the few that allowed me to be a part of your experience via group training and private lessons, Christine Spiro, Yulia Vdovina, Patrick Ryan, Mar Maheay, Katerina Trofimova, Juliya JBobcat, Thalía Valtierra, Jacqueline Santos, Dana Luna & Lisa Cannon, thank you so much for making me feel as if Im doing something right. You make me feel valid and that the work in which I produce is not in vain. I was a proud pole sister and mom and was so happy to have a front seat to the magic you all created! Even when things didnt go as well as you may have wanted in preparation or performance, know that you all are precious gems and idols in your own rights. To all the awardees, welcome to the club! You all are deserving of your titles! Cherish the moments and stay humbled and hungry! That blinged out cowboy hat, satin sash and acrylic tower packs a punch! Im so proud to call you all family. To my roll dawg Shay , thanks for taking the ride with me since 2010. We may not always see each other as much as wed like, or even see eye to eye, but Im always proud to call you my co-host, sister and friend! Our journey will soon begin again!!! Im getting a bit emo and Im starting to forget some words. But thanks for the love, the appreciation and the encouragement over all these years and cant wait to come back!
