Ok. I have a story. Went to court for a ticket because I didnt have a license plate on the front and back of the car. My name was called to approach the judge and the verdict.... 175 big ones. Wow. My heart sank, I couldnt believe it. I left shaking my head dreading telling Daryl. I started to drive away and felt the Lord telling me to go back. I drove back and waited til the courtroom cleared. I approached the Judge once again praying for the words. I sheepishly asked if the Judge could do anything. The judge was then interrupted by the secretary with a young gentlemen standing beside her. This young man would like to pay for Half her fine. There was another woman in the room and another listening ear in the hallway. I couldnt believe it. The judge laughed and continued to tell me about the law. The young man just waited patiently until he was finished. The judge ended up dropping the charge and told me I only had to pay the surcharge of 25 dollars. The young man steps forward and puts 25 cash on the counter. He turns to me in front of everyone and says I am a Christian and when you walked out of the courtroom God told me to give you what I had left in my wallet which was 100 dollars. He had also left and come back in obedience to the Lord, and there I was pleading with the judge. I told him (with our little audience still listening) I am a Christian too and I went to my car and was praying to the Lord about what to do and He told me to come back. Thank you so much really thank you so much I shook his hand and he was gone. The workers and Judge were wide eyed and awed. They kept saying how that has never happened before. What a testimony to the glory of the Lord. I left with tears in my eyes and joy in my heart. I just witnessed the effects of being obedient to the Lord firsthand. The few people in the room at the time and the listening ear in the hall were really effected by this little happening. And so was I! Lord You really are an amazing God. Thank you so much for this miracle!
