Ok, I have rambled on about the Zimmerman / Martin case and still feel that if you start a fight and start to get your butt kicked, self defense should go out the window. With that said, my research into Florida law shows that by the letter of the laws of the state of Florida, Zimmerman acted within his rights. You can legally follow and confront anyone you want in Fla. as long as there is no physical action. Unfortunately, we will never know the truth where the physical action started. I still feel it was a wrongful death but based on Fla. law, the jury verdict was correct.
