Ok, I have something to get off my chest. I get that minimum wage is not a salary in which one can make a good living. Walmart had picketers this morning holding signs complaining about the low wages. That being said, to have a job in this economy is a blessing. About 3 years ago I lost my job and was unemployed for about 6 months. I literally had no money coming in. It was one of the worst times in my life. I would have killed for one of those minimum wage jobs, but I couldnt get a job anywhere. And even when I was working, I barely made more than minimum wage, but I didnt complain because I was working. Thankfully now I am in a much better place. I am just tired of all the complaining I hear. If one thing gets better, then something else gets complained about. Now I am not Miss happy sunshine all the time, trust me, but I live in a 3 bedroom house, I drive a brand new car, and I have money for food and I thank God every damn day for it. If only people would start being thankful for what they do have, and stop complaining about every little thing they dont, what a much nicer place this would be.
