Ok I have to get this off my chest because I cant let it go. I need to preface this by saying I dont trust the media at all. Im not a fan of listening to the news from either parties perspective and if I have to I want it to be from the side I usually support. I enjoy our local broadcasting in Dallas and watch Fox DFW because I believe one of the anchors is a devout Christian. The national level is another story. The Five on Fox has always annoyed me but recently they took it to a whole new level with me. My cousin Lucy Eric Holt proudly serves in our armed forces and proud that she does. Their family has made huge sacrifices and left normal behind. There are several men and women who serve in our aged forces and everyone of them deserve a level of respect above that of a common man or woman. Those men and women put everything out there for us. This of course applies to police, fire, emt, doctors etc. The difference I think for though is the separation that our soldiers experience from their families. Both Lucy and Eric serve to protect daily. That said Im not a liberal or a feminist by any stretch of the imagination but what was said angers me because they should have had more respect for a soldier doing her duty. youtu.be/lrqaw7lB7
