Ok, I have very rarely come across a group that I have a hard time defining. Kongos is one. I have listened to most of their album and they cross the spectrums of rock, reggae styles and folk styles, almost hippie like lyrics with a side of satire, introspection and cries for love. They are like a much younger version of Rush without the intense vocabulary. The instrumentation on their songs is varied everything from accordians to guitars and is layered in unique ways.
