Ok I just finished reading The Hobbit for God knows how many times since I was eight or ten years old. Also over the last couple days have watched the first two movies on Video on Demand. Most of the kids have all seen the third movie at least twice I think. Ive been waiting for the chance to go see it with my brother Jim and I talked with him the other day well probably go next weekend. I am sure as with the first two films, I will thoroughly love the cinematic / cinematography aspects of the movie, along with the some of the acting. I am sure the action scenes will live up to the expectations we have come to expect from Mr, Jackson, but I still have little respect for a screen play and project that strays so far from the original masterpiece so eloquently and timelessly penned by Tolkien. Sure Jackson and the media moguls will make millions upon millions on his trilogy, but he would have millions on a single film that honored J.R.R and was faithful to the work. I mean how many millions does a man need? Well just the late night foolish rantings of a Parkinsons insomniac. Turn back the page and Ill waste away.
