Ok,I know, i know with 600 positive comments i focus on the negative ones but i just want everyone to know more info on the situation. For those that said why did we get a hybrid they thought we were against them. We ARE 100% against having a hybrid as a house pet. Rob R. said it best in his comment I wish people would stop breeding WD(wolf/dogs) as it is based on human selfishness!! They do not ask to be bred this way!! They are often outcasts as they do not fit into the wild and they do not fit into the human world in many cases. many more that end up in the shelters or sanctuaries that are in most cases over flowing with the owner operator working on a shoestring. Its not Tanks fault he was born into this life and we are happy to be able to help him live a good life. As for where we got him from, our understanding was they DID NOT want to put him down but as with most rescue centers for hybrids they had many animals to take care of. They were under new management and the officials that govern them told them they had to reduce their numbers. Sadly the unplaceable ones are usually the first to go. They loved Tank and his caretakers keep in contact with us to see how he is doing. We are happy to say socially he has made a huge improvement here. from running in circles when stressed when he got here to now running up to the fence to say hi and wait for his food no, more stress circles :) . Many of you have posted photos of your loved hybrids they are lucky to be loved and cherished and we wish you the very best with them. but for those looking to get one please please research and know what you are getting into. they typically DO NOT make good house pets and so so many end up like Tank at a rescue center. Our recommendation is to please think twice about it. Thank you all for your support!!!!!
