Ok...........I know nearly nothing about differentials. There is an 8 inch in my sons 68 Coupe. I would like to add limited slip and lower the gear to 3:55 or so. I was looking at the below, a Detroit Trutrac. Can someone give me an estimate (I know some of you have shops) on labor for this upgrade? First, I do NOT want advice on ANYTHING except what I asked above. I dont want to know about changing to an 8.8 or a 9, I just want to know a ballpark labor cost estimate on the above. Toying with the idea at the moment. Right now its got the stock 2.79, single spinner. Thanks. :-)
