Ok I know what my husbands put me through, I was there. Im still going through the pain of some of it. However, I am happy for him that he has made the decision to become a Christian man. Idk if he will backslide right away or if he will become a completely renewed soul but thats where a little faith is required from me when I thought I had none left to give him. HOWEVER, I am a little disappointed in some of our Christian friends (and I use that term loosely.) He does have a rocky past that puts a lot of others to shame but so do a lot of Christians. Ask some of them who werent raised in church about the kind of people they were before they began to strive to be CHRIST-LIKE. Then mention my husband dedicating his life yesterday and watch how fast they switch to judging and shaking their heads and giving those sideways glances like yeah right. Forgive me, friends, for wanting to share with you some hopeful news on my marriage for once. I am highly disappointed because in all the twelve years I have been with my husband, we have always been happy for a friend who turned to God. We will continue to be that way because thats what we feel we should do but I, myself, just wanted to remind some of you not to point fingers and ridicule because it wasnt very long ago when a few of you were in his shoes. Some even in his shoes to this day. I dont expect everyone to be ecstatic but I also didnt expect you to mock him behind his back for his choice then call him friend to his face and call yourself Christian to everyone else. In the end, what will we all call ourselves to God...when he knows our hearts.
