Ok. I must chime in on the LRBC # 23. I spoke to Roger on Day 5. I told him this was my favorite Blues Cruise so far. I need a comfortable cabin (weve had verandahs, large verandah suites, inside, etc) and food that I dont prepare. I LOVE the Blues. It is my passion. There were a lot of artists I did not go see on the boat because I dont care for their interpretation of the Blues. Its my choice and a big part of my love of this vacation. The other component of my love of the blues cruise is my friends, my blues framily. We are NOT related but have come to know each other because we love this art form, THE BLUES. Ive seen the posts from Don Twyman. I guess its not for everyone. For me, its never been about the boat, ports, crew or food. It started with the music and great musicians, access to the magic that happens in the scheduled jams and the ones that happen on the side. Wondering around the boat and keeping my ears open for practices are the surprises that I was lucky to experience. It grew into great friendships. I truly wonder how different my life would be if Id never gone on my 1st in OCT 2007. I love my framily. See you in JAN 15.
