Ok I need a business partner with more mechanical brains than me, Im a dumb Leco, I want to solve the alternator issues with the new cruisers and I might have a solution, the problem being that they are mounted too low and water and mud is killing them and there is nowhere left in the engine bay to mount a belt driven one higher, so Im thinking is it possible to mount one up on the drivers side next to the power steering fluid bottle that is hydraulically driven rather than belt driven, this takes care of lots of issues, if the power steering pump wasnt big enough to run it there seems to be room to upgrade it, looking for interest and and constructive criticism cheers
