Ok I need some help understanding this Malaysian airline shot down thing. They say it could be separatists or Ukrainian military so whats the significance of shooting down an international flight just passing over??! Last time I heard, political / religious offensive strikes are supposed to mean something. Right? Whats a plane going to Kuala Lampur have to do with their cause? (B) I thought international flights fly higher than domestic ones? So from Amsterdam to Ukraine airspace, it should have been well above 10k ft. What kind of missile that can do that is available on black market? Where did they get the budget? And Im assuming it doesnt sit on a tripod or someones shoulder...right? How does one pull out something like that at 2pm and no one sees it near or far? How does it accurately hit a large aircraft so far away? I thought only governments had that kind of missile.
