Ok, I never post on here, I usually just read a lot of what my Fractal brothers and sisters have to say about certain things they run into. But now I have my own unexplained phenomenon happening. I was reading up on ReAmping a few weeks ago, finally after beating whats left of my brains out for two days I decided my DAW, Sonar X3 Producer, wasnt compatible with performing the task. So last night, I decide to record a track after putting on some new strings, I record it, and the only thing I did different was I put the guitar track on mono. I usually always record in stereo, dont know why, its just a preference I guess, So I record the track, go back to listen to it and what do I hear? The dry guitar track. I didnt even attempt to try to do this and it happened. Not sure what info you would need from me, but does anyone have an idea of why? Now I have to figure out how to reamp it, which if I remember correctly I need to change the i/o to usb? I just think its nuts that this happened and I wasnt even trying to attempt it.
