Ok. I now have an educated opinion about GRUB, because I have gone 4 times with a total of 7 other people, and one time alone thru delivery, to confirm my similar opinion after dining at varies times of the day with GRUB. I really want to love this cute neighborhood, and very creative and fun (charming if you will), restaurant. I want it to be 80s family drama/sitcom memorable. Its not. The 100% consensus, after the 8 of us have dined, is we left over greased and underwhelmed, but a tad over charged for more basic options, some having too much of the good thing that makes it special. Lots of too heavy options, in our humble opinion. We arent health nuts, so dont think Im some Weho Queen watching her figure 24/7. I get its popular, but I guess we Americans love our grease and well earned exposure has helped, and believe me, I am drawn in each time, but I am hesitating going back. . What do you say, as a 5 time customer who wants to make it a regular thing...refine, tweak and create just a bit, and I think your customers will LOVE IT (and you may have a few people ask for extra, and as someone in the food service industry as well...I get it.) but the general consensus will now be a hard yes from locals and tourists, and the customer will also eat a tad more healthy without losing flavor. Please give me my neighborhood hang out to bring nieces and nephews. With Love, Me.
