Ok I understand that some people are annoyed at paying for a wrist band to go to pride and to get onto canal street. BUT its one weekend a year. The money goes towards paying for the event, putting on the stages and shows. Money goes towards the community fund and charitys and doing good work around Manchester. Doing publicity and the website. Paying for things like portaloos and god knows whatever else. And its £18-22 depending when you bought your band and isnt it free for residents and the businesses? I know money is tight but come on! For a 4 day event £22 is nothing! You pay £50 to go to Alton towers and stand in lines for most of the day. Instead of trying to cheat the system cause your too tight calling it a con and trying to make a scene, suck it up put your hand in your pocket or just stay away.
