Ok I was challenged by my mom Donna J. Rose to name 3 things I am thankful for over the next three days. Given the time of year I think I will do it a little different for my first. Almost a year ago we lost one of the greatest men ever to have lived. My dad Linville Rose and I had a lot of long talks and these r some of the things I remember him being thankful for. 1. Hes was so thankful to have married his soul mate. I cant tell you how much he admired his wife. Sure they had their share of problems but he loved her so much. In his own words he often said we balance each other out. I showed her how to relax and dream a little bigger and she showed me that sometimes u have to put some dreams on the shelf to pay the bills. He was definitely thankful for her unconditional love and so often talked about what a lucky man he was. 2. He was thankful to his mom and dad. He was definitely a mommys boy. He was thankful to have such a strong and loving mother and a hard working father that would dream just as big as he did. 3. He was thankful for all of his kids. Lisa Stroud he was so proud of you. He often bragged about the decisions u would make and your accomplishments in life. The only way u could have made him any happier was if u had decided to live closer. Man he missed you. He lit up every time u called! Scarlett Rose he was proud of you too. He was thankful that you were growing into a very good young lady. He bragged about how u did at school and how u would always try to pitch in and help around the house and with the boys. Berk and Seth he was so thankful for finally having sons. He bragged that with u guys around the boys finally outnumbered the girls in the house. He was thankful to all of you for being his kids and making him proud in so many different ways! Never doubt for one second that he was thankful the day u guys came home to us. Alright Ill do more tomorrow. I guess i will challenge.
