Ok, I was watching the news when they show a picture of the new Pope. This is what I saw. Pope Francis reaches out to atheists and agnostics The Pope has struck a surprisingly conciliatory tone towards atheists and agnostics, saying that God will "forgive" them as long as they behave morally and live according to their consciences. It is very clear to me that the Catholic Church and I do not read from the same King James Bible nor do we worship the same GOD. The God I worship is called YHVH. His sons name is Yeshua (Jesus). First off the last time I checked an atheists does not believe e in GOD. With that in mind then none of the other things the pope say can even apply. Someone needs to show the pope this verse. Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This verse is very easy to understand. It clearly says that whosoever believeth in HIM (GOD) should not perish. I’m sorry but it clearly states that if you don’t believe then you will perish. Talk about an oxymoron, this has got to be the best one I have seem to date. But let’s just go further into this. 1Jn_1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. This is very easy to understand also. We need to confess our sins to Him (GOD) and he will be faithful and just to forgive us of our sins. The pope clearly threw this verse out of the Bible. How are our sins forgiven, by confessing them to YHVH. Why would an atheist who believes there is no GOD confesses to something that does not exist. Living morally and living according to their conscience has nothing to do with forgiveness. There will be a lot of people in hell because of this belief and teaching. There is a lot of things wrong with this and I could go on and on. But let me make this simple as it is. To be forgiven the following things have to happen 1. Believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the son of GOD, He lived, died and rose from the grave 2. You must confess your sins 3. You must repent of those sins ( means to turn away from them ) 4. Get your new life in line with what the BIBLE teaches. (means you need to read the Bible and study it) 5. Have Faith, your Faith will be equal to your knowledge of the WORD. If you have little knowledge of the Word (JESUS) then you will have little Faith. More knowledge of the Word (JESUS) the more Faith you will have. My faith grew as I learned more of what the Bible says. Don’t make the mistake of putting you Faith in getting to Heaven in the pope. He too is a man born just like you and I and has sinned and needs Yeshua (Jesus). He is not God and he and no other priest can forgive you of your sins.
