Ok, I wasnt doing anything important anyway. :-) Ill play along. Thanks Bridgette Weig 8 random things you may not know about me 1. When I was 5 or 6 yrs old, my best friend & I went door to door trying to sell mushrooms to the neighbors. We got caught by the fuzz (our parents), and I got locked up (I locked myself in the bathroom to try to avoid getting spanked). 2. I have lost count of how many times I have seen the band Sonic Youth perform live. I believe 18 is a very excellent guess. Definitely no less. 3. I love the ocean. The smell of the sea air, the sound of the waves, watching the sunset, sand in my shorts (yeah right) everything! ! 4. I talk to my parents on the phone almost every single day! It might not be a long conversation, or there might be long pauses, but I love it and am so grateful for it. 5. There have been 2 times in my life that I thought I might die soon. The first was in my teenage years, it was Christmas morning & I had just eaten some Christmas chocolate. Someone said something funny & I choked. My dad ran over and pounded on my back and I think he attempted the heimlich maneuver. I remember thinking I couldnt breathe and that this might be it. The 2nd time was when I was 21 and my appendix burst. There was a moment as I was getting prepped for surgery, the way I felt, calm, peaceful, cold, I felt very at peace and fine with the fact I might not make it through. 6. On 3 separate occasions, that I can remember, a random stranger has come up to me and planted a kiss on my face. Twice were on the mouth, and the third was on the side of my face. Each time was in a public place with people around. 7. I believe God is real and He truly is the definition of love. That he loves everyone, whether they believe he exists or not. And that He still helps me out & takes care of me even though I am not always my best self. 8. I dont like making lists.
