Ok, Im a Metal/Hair Band freak, but I have recently been leaning towards country (Tina Wood). I like a number of Country Artists, but one I really have enjoyed is Taylor Swift. Put aside the fact that she is a very attractive young lady, and keep in mind that in a time when most young Hollywood/music artists are putting themselves into Scandalous situations, Taylor Swift has always maintained a level of class and maturity for her age. Additionally, her best friends are still the kids she grew up with. So, I was a little concerned when I saw a photo montage of her new video, Shake It Off. In it, she gets away from country and moves more over to Pop. Unfortunately, there were some sequences that indicated it might be more suggestive than her usual self, and included some twerking. Anyways, I watched it, and it was a GREAT video. Everything she was doing that was concerning, was actually being done in a way that showed that its out of character for her, and ultimately the whole point of the video is about not succumbing to societal pressures and being yourself, and keeping it real. You gotta watch it, and as always with her songs, turn the music really loud...
