Ok, Im curious, why is there such an attachment to terrestrial radio? With Johnny tethered to a studio/station it just seems limiting. If he were to commit to full web, there are more freedoms than just being able to drop an F-bomb without repercussions. Ive been a huge fan of Smodcast and spin-offs for years. Smodcast is the podcast created by Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) and his friend/producer Scott Mosier. I dont know how the financials work, but it seems that along with the spin-offs Kevin has a decent way to make a living. His income seems to come in the form of merchandising, ad revenue, subscriptions, and live engagements. I know that striking out on his own is a big risk, but I think Johnny could do it.
