Ok, Im gonna try this again. In the wake of Robin Williams - TopicsExpress

Ok, Im gonna try this again. In the wake of Robin Williams passing, mostly I see and hear the grief of millions who loved this man. Its really beautiful...a stunning tribute to someone who appears to have been a wonderful human walking this earth. But....I still hear the subpercentage of those on the Rush Limbaugh side (I cant believe I just typed that guys name...) making disparaging comments and worse about this situation. So....heres what I have to say about it. It is a misunderstanding and a rigid judgment of that act called SUICIDE that still circulates in our judgmental world...no one but Robin knows the pain and suffering he had...when, for how long, what about. The lesson for those of us left is related to until you walk in another persons moccasins.... and to give compassion and understanding for all. I feel extremely sad that he is gone, and even more sad that there was nothing he could find to help him get relief. (Big mistake if you think money can buy mental health and balance. Even bigger mistake if you think he did not ask for help.) He gave a lot to this world besides funny jokes, and that is why there is such an outpouring of grief from millions of people. Most of us feel he really touched us, and that was because he was a real person, despite his celebrity status. James Taylor, another man with tremendous gifts, stated in posthumous tribute to Robin that he realizes that for some reason, great artistic energy is often paired with the pain of a hydrant wide open...with little control over the valve. This is a time we could learn to love bigger and try to imagine how deeply painful biochemical imbalance is for SO MANY. Compassion and lovingkindness, which this man is LEGEND for being, go a long way. If you cant say something nice... then say a prayer for those of us who miss this man, and for those who stand on the precipice of ending their own lives at this very second.
