Ok. Im posting this later because it takes me a little bit to talk about it sometimes, but want to remind everybody how blessed you are if you dont know. Through the crazy busyness of my day it was still on my mind the whole day. I felt weird & thought wait, its daddys birthday. My dad would have been 59 today. I love you so much daddy, you arent here physically but your spirit is w/ me always. I hope Im making you proud. I love you so much. At 15 I learned the important lesson of always hugging, kissing bye, letting someone know you love them before you leave. You never know when your last time will be. I said bye & I love you before I left for school that day, but what I would give just to slow down that day so I could hug him longer, memorize his face, hear his voice boom (he was REALLY tall, like basketball player tall, had a big daddy voice, was an awesome bass & tenor), joke around like usual. He was a big kid. He led the buggy races in his dorm hall back in the day,& played a photo prank on his HS school year book. LOL. He counseled a number of kids, families, advocating. He was hard on himself, wanting to do the best he could. That was my dad. When he got really sick, it was hard for him & our whole family, but I know who my dad was. A Christian man, a hard worker, comedian, weirdo, nervous about asking my mom out for their first date he chased her up the stairs in college until she finally gave him her number (creeper ;) )so much more. We love you daddy:) P.S. Ms. O Binky was his nickname for me. I loved my pacifier. Lol.
