Ok...Ive finally put on sunglasses and woken from my anti-nausea medication to help treat symptoms of this excruciating migraine. Halle was back at TCH today. The removal of the gtube has caused a fistula to form. Consequently, the stomach contents (including gastric acid) have been pouring onto her skin. Her skin is raw and very painful. Shes not eating or drinking due to instantaneous and horrible pain. Dr placed gtube back in today (that was fun... Not) in order to allow tissue to heal. Fistula must be repaired surgically and cannot be done with the site in this shape. Also, we are gravely concerned about dehydration with our precious transplant. Surgery is scheduled Monday with what sounds like admit Sunday for hydration. Again....I humbly ask for prayer. Life could be so much worse. Two years of this is just wearing me down. I do thank God its just a gtube, I question why she has to continue to suffer. And with that existential ending, Im going to shed the sunglasses, go throw up, and likely hit the ER for my migraine. Just wanted yall to know. Peace
