Ok Ive never ranted on Facebook before but this one takes the cake! I didnt read the sign fully and I probably deserved to have a boot put on my truck despite not having done it on purpose. However the A-hole who bootted the car was reciting his rehearsed speech despite the fact that I was having a melt down with my husbands will and death certificate in hand. Im sorry Mam but your personal issues have no bearing on the ticket. A bad day does nothing to the ticket REALLY!?! A bad day!?! All I could muster the emotional energy to say was that I hoped he met someone that would show him more compassion than he was showing me. As I counted my cash to discover that I was short $25 he said he would take it ending with hows that for compassion. Still a jerk for putting me through the ringer! Also.... Im not dumb. Of course take the cash. Put it in your pocket, rip up your part of the ticket and youre boss is none the wiser. Lesson to those reading this rant. Policies and procedures do not govern humanity. Be compassionate to those you meet. You have no idea what they are going through! End rant!
