Ok Ladies and Gents we are looking for some racer feedback on our Rules (A) we want to get more cars in the class (B) we want to keep the field tighter! Here are the updated Rules! Limited Street is a Small Block Heads Up 1/8 mile class All vehicles must meet TRACK sanctioning Body Safety Rules, ie. Seat belts, etc. All rules will be at Tech Inspector’s discretion. Should a competitor be in breach of the rules after the event, the purse will go to the second place and so on. Overall vehicle weight: 3,000 lbs MINIMUM weight up to 360 add 12.5 lbs per cubic inch over 360 to a maximum of 400 cubic inches which woul be 3500lbs. Rear End Gear Ratio: 4:11 gear MAX allowed. Tire Size: 28x10.5x15 is MAX Tire size No Ws MAXIMUM cranking compression of 180 psi NO Dry Sump Oil Pump – Must remain in oil pan. NO Vacuum Pumps. NO Timing Belts NO Crank Triggers NO Chassis Cars Bolt in Suspension only (Some mini tubs may be allowed with 200 lbs weight adder) NO forward facing hood scoops unless OE equipped. NO rear wings unless OE equipped. NO wheelie bars. NO parachutes NO Towing to and from the lanes Heads: Aluminum or Cast Heads permitted. Heads must remain stock configuration. Porting is permitted (ie. Chevrolet 23 degree Valve Angle) Fuel injected cars must remain stock UNLESS under 310 Cubic Inches. Exhaust: 1 5/8” MAX Header Tubes, Muffler and Exhaust Pipe. Must run to a minimum in front of axle diameter of pipe MAX 2 ½” unless OEM equipped with larger. Induction System: 600CFM 4150 mechanical MAX ONE carb only. Fuel infection Throttle Bodies Max Size 75 mm Intakes: Carb cars production intakes only, NO one off intakes or sheet metal. NO composite style intake or two piece intakes Ignition: MSD 6AL style two step Rev Box Permitted. NO programmable or digital boxes. Transmission: Automatic Trans brake prohibited. Standard transmission must be stock and must shift in stick “H” pattern. NO aftermarket Standard transmissions. Camshaft: Hydraulic Roller, Solid Roller, hyd flat tappett and solid flat tappets are all permitted. PAYOUTS There will be a guaranteed pay out of $800 per race divided among competitors will be provided by New Generation Engines and Misener Motorsports at each race plus whatever the car count is.
