Ok Lee P. Barrios, after a lengthy mental battle with myself, I sent my childs opt out letter this morning. I came across the LaDOE (Louisiana Believes) website stating that starting next year, all LEAP and ILEAP will be replaced with PARCC. I attached a copy of that page to my opt out letter and used that as the basis for the opt out. Please say a prayer that this goes well. I also respectfully asked that this opt out request be implemented into her IEP.
