Ok. Let me just eat a slice of humble pie this morning. It is already sticking to the roof of my mouth lol. From time to time I do kick and squirm about being back in Oklahoma. That said, I have to acknowledge that Oklahoma is not all that it once was...yeah that is not working for me...let me say...Tulsa is not what is once was. It has progressed and become much more diverse than even a decade ago. As a lifetime advocate that is what I pray for (and what I am impatient about.) Tulsa has peoples, organizations, communities and individuals who are living life to dilute the old biases that have been deeply rooted here. Instead of kicking cans about being here...while I am here...I am adding to my New Years Resolution to become more involved with the role I can fulfill and be thankful that there are others on the same path.
