Ok. Let me preface this by saying domestic violence and child abuse is unacceptable--watching the Ray Rice video was utterly disturbing. Unfortunately, this history can be traced through multiple players, not only in the nfl but many other sports. However, the way the league and owners have handled this entire ordeal is how can we better the business, rather than how can we help our fellow man. If the league and owners were so concerned about their image, why not try to help the individual by providing professional help rather than just a slap on the wrist or even letting the media dictate how you conduct business and make an extreme example of one of the best nfl running backs of our generation. Again, I do not condone any of petersons actions. But if we can give mike Vick, Ray Lewis, and other athletes a second chance, why not Peterson?
