Ok, Mom (Jane) heres what happened. I went with a family friend so she could try out for the American Idol experience at Disneys Hollywood Studios. If you win, you get a golden dream ticket to go to the head of the line at a regular American Idol tryout and to tryout for the real judges. I said I would try out too so she wouldnt be nervous, and I was completely shocked when they wanted me to stay and sing for their show producers. I did.. and can you believe it, but I was asked to be in their show that day. They have several competitions each day, and if you win, you go to finals that night and if you win THAT you get the golden dream ticket. They did my hair and makeup, and they miked me, and the stage and lights, everyone was telling me things to remember (I was just happy to remember the words, lol).... all so overwhelming. oh there were three judges too and the audience voted the winner. :-) I competed...and I didnt win, but I have to tell you it was the experience of a lifetime. :-) I was also happy to go back to Shawn and the boys and back to being just Mom again.
