Ok NORMALLY we photograph an event, post a hand full of pictures and move on to the next event. Well we are STILL over here floating from the out of this world experience we had at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. In our tenure as professionals we have photographed everything from top end exotics to one of kind muscle and sports cars to dirt bikes and quads on tracks across the country (well technically east of the Rockies), and we have never been to anything that touches the amazingness of this race. SO, in case you missed the awesomeness of this race, here are some vital stats. 200 vintage cars on track in 8 race groups. Every thing from 1919 Model A race car to Porsche 356 to Causey Special to MGT to Lotus 22s. A car show that overlooks the race that pulls in around 2000 cars, and an estimated 200,000 spectators. It is 2.3 mile true road race with 23 corners including at least 2 hairpins held at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, PA. When we got the pass to shoot it, someone said that That is a once in a lifetime opportunity, to which we said Nope, it is a first in a lifetime
