Ok... Nerve conduction done. Not too bad. EMG however sucks. Needles dont usually bother me but when stuck into muscles that hurt already?! There were tears. Quite a few. But I made it through and found out from the neurophysiologist that I have carpal tunnel syndrome. I will find out my doctors recommendation when I see him after my MRI. I found out that my MRI is scheduled for 10/31. So God willing I will have some idea of what is wrong with my back. Honestly I have always thought it is something very similar to carpal tunnel just in the spine. I was in gymnastics when I was young and also involved in a lot of sports. I think all those flips and back bends combined with years of standing on concrete all day long to work have together to caused constant pressure and irritation to the nerves in my spine. One thing for sure... My back does not bend backward anymore. Not at all. Dang I feel old!
