Ok People, The nitty gritty... I regrettably have to say that Ive never seen a group of men and women as twisted as I see today. I see a group of men more disrespetful of women than I ever couldve fathomed. I also see a group of women who are in acceptance of the behavior. In fact, it seems they are almost drawn to it. Being a people watcher, I love to witness the interaction between men and women and it has been turned upside down. Those who profess the aspirations or desires to have a meaningful relationship are chasing after the the walking heartbreak and scoffing at the those who are actually geuine. Brothers who have it together are being shunned and the women who shunned them are bending over backwards for the ones who mean them no good. In ths day and age, you know that means the frustrations will eventually become public(show up on social media). The men are bypassing women who have their best interest at heart for those who appear to have no self respect or sense of priority where spirituality, family or finances are concerned. Even approachng a woman in this age seems almost futile for those who are genuine. The callous, cold, adolescent lines of conversation coupled with buying rounds at happy hour, driving a particular car(which are common by the way) and showing no apparent interest seems to be the formula for success in dating. Being nonchalant when complemented, having no time to speak when approached, more concerned with the mans career/income, more focused on their outfits and outings than genuine intent or interest is what seems to be the catnip for men. I think the frighteningly large number of people who have been brainwashed by the music, shows, media potrayal, self-perpetuated images and degradation of the value of meaningful interactions and respect has been replaced with life imitating rap songs and pimp mentality. Playas get chose.........please. Women are treated like hoes sounds more like it. We have women wearing dog collars and leashes in the club. WTF? Men dont even know how to speak to women these days and it appears that a plethora of women like it. Some would argue that entertainment has no influence on our interaction but why are so many women dressing like and conducting themselves like the way they are depicted in rap songs? Why are men emulating the rappers? From the dialect, to the principles(if there are any) to the clothing all the way down to the treatment of others. Women are actually referring to themselves as bit**es and do it with such pride..........wow. They want a man but cheer on the side chicks until one starts sleeping with her man. Brothers are committing to women who half-ass take care of their own kids, yet alone his. It seems they are both content with the selfishness shared between them as far as the family is concerned. I say to them both, if that is the life you choose to live then keep your mouths shut when the drama comes along....and it eventually will. Stop hiding amongst those who want more, aspire for more, demand more and just move it along with the foolery to another spot. You are more than welcome at the Playas get chose, bad bi**h, fly ride, happy hour, side chick, polygamist, mean mug, straight to Facebook status change resort. They have a suite just for you and you can stay as long as you like but please.......pleas.......move out of the neighborhod of respect, ambition, spirituality, commitment, family responsibility and genuine intent. Youre bringing down the property value on happiness. There are those of us who have invested a lot in being happy and we are looking to receive that return on our investment. I will gladly rent you a U-haul and help your azz pack up if it will get you off the block of common sense any sooner.
