In every crime or public offense there must exist a union, or joint operation, of act and intent, or criminal negligence. Knowingly, Willingly and Wrongfully. Part of convicting a defendant of a crime should include proving that a crime was committed and that the person that committed the crime knew it was crime and committed it anyway, otherwise there is no criminal negligence. No criminal negligence, no crime.
