Ok. So I am still receiving messages about what has actually happened at JU .So I would like to state whatever I know. There are two versions of the story regarding the molestation ,there may be many more versions..but I apologize for not being aware of them.Anyways here it goes- Version 1 : A student of Ju and her boyfriend were caught doing something inside the campus at an abandoned place near the boys hostel on the final night of the Sanskriti...The guys who found them in such a condition are accused of beating up the guy but the girl wasnt even touched and as sources say,the girl was rescued by her friends. Version 2: The girl and her boyfriend were unable to find a toilet(because all the toilets gets closed by that time) and as she needed to pee,she along with her bf went at that abandoned place.The guys found them and then she was molested.This is another version of the story. Now which is the true version,which isnt...we arent going for that..Let the investigation team find it out. Now,We,the students of JU were demanding a proper transparent investigation from the VC. But as sources claim the VC had taken measures without letting us know about it and the girl has even complained that the investigation team has harrased her. We just wanted a proper transparent investigation. Was it too much to handle for the VC?? Why did he let the police force and the hooligans enter our campus and assault us? Why did they man-handle the girls?? Our protests were peaceful. What type of VC is he? He puts down his own students. He lies publicly about the incident that has happened,when the video footage shows a completely different story. They decided to beat up the students at 2 am on Wednesday morning. Female students were being attacked by the police , their dresses being torn off, being dragged by the hair. There are torn off shoes, pieces of clothing, broken flowerpots everywhere. The students were SEVERELY injured.Yes, that’s the current state of West Bengal where at least 40 students, including girls, were arrested and molested by police and local goons – allegedly belonging to Trinamool Congress (TMC) – in the early hours of Wednesday.According to sources, 36 of them have been hospitalised too. The VC must resign and a proper investigation should be carried out. That is the reason for our protests. #hokkolorob
