Ok. So I have to say that I have loved Ashers school and teachers, but Im sort of in a pickle about his current teacher. Its kindergarten, and hell go again next year in public school, but he got a note sent home today, and our last name is misspelled. His Happy Grams from her are only one sentence, and they dont really make sense (I know they are obligated to do 2/month, but complete sentences would be nice). She doesnt make a big deal out of show & tell, which I thought was a way to associate items from home with the weeks learning topic, as well as practice speaking in front of their friends. When Asher doesnt listen and runs around the room, he gets to sit on her lap. He told us once that she wants him to sit on her lap, so it seems like the problem isnt being addressed properly, and thats the only way she knows how to get him to stop running around the classroom. Please tell me Im just making a big deal out of nothing...
