Ok... So I have what could best be described as a complaint and while I would rather not post it here, I have exhausted all my other options. Store staff tend to ignore my concerns and the official websites complaint section is always down. So first of all I think that a large majority of the stores in the Sydney area that have a drive thru must have a problem with giving sauce to customers when its asked for. I can say with certainty that only twice have I had sauce with my meal when I have asked for it. I dont know whether its an option on the register screens and its not being input or whether staff are to lazy or preoccupied to complete an order but whatever the reason, its annoying. Which brings me to my next point. I go to the minto store quite regularly as I have my break there. Most of the staff carry their mobile phones in their back pockets and are constantly looking at it and even texting during an order. There is even one staff member who wears her headphones while serving customers. Whether its music or a phone call she is listening to, dont you have a mobile phone policy in place? I consider it the peak of rudeness to be addressed by someone who had headphones in their ears. Regardless of what they are listening to... If anything. Lastly, I understand completely that staff need breaks. In fact, I encourage regular rest periods. But lately I have had to wait in line for extended periods of time because staff on breaks are standing at the counter having random conversations with the staff still working. Its all good to have a chat with your fellow workers but if there are customers waiting to be served, shouldnt they be priority? If anything is taken away from this complaint, I hope its that the younger staff are given a little more encouragement to do their job properly and leave recreational activities for breaks or after they finish their shifts.
